About ASCB

ASCB is an independent accreditation body. It assesses conformity assessment bodies against the international standards for their work, and operates to ISO/IEC 17011. How it is governed, how it keeps accreditation decisions free of commercial influence, how it assesses, and its record: 230+ conformity assessment bodies accredited since 1995, across 140+ countries. ASCB carries out no commercial conformity assessment work of its own, so it does not compete with the bodies it accredits.
