Standards in revision or recently published
ISO/IEC 17065 (product, process and service certification). At FDIS ballot stage and not yet published; it will replace the 2012 edition. No publication date is confirmed.
ISO/IEC 17020:2026 (inspection bodies). Published March 27, 2026, replacing the 2012 edition. In transition; the ASCB transition date is on the Transition deadline calendar.
ISO/IEC 17024:2026 (certification of persons). Published, replacing the 2012 edition. In transition; the ASCB transition date is on the Transition deadline calendar.
ISO 19011:2026 (guidance for management system auditing). Published May 2026, replacing the 2018 edition. A guideline, so it applies from publication with no transition period. This revision feeds into ISO/IEC 17021-1 assessments.
ISO 9001:2026 (quality management systems). Published September 16, 2026, replacing the 2015 edition. In transition; the ISO 9001 2026 transition article covers what changed and the dates.
